Deposit & Payment

To confirm your advance booking a deposit of 20 percent of the total fee for the service is required prior to the booking date. The balance of the full fee is payable on the day of the booking prior to flight. Payments for service secured on the day of service are payable in full and in advance of flight.

Cancellation by Kapiti Heliworx

Heliworx aims to meet all customer booking commitments. However in some instances services may be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control e.g. weather conditions. In all instances where Heliworx cancel the service the customer may either rebook the service, or receive a 100% fee refund.

Cancellation by customer

Due to the nature of our business cancellations affect us significantly and we apply a strict cancellation policy. In the event that you cancel or fail to arrive for your booking the following charges will apply:

  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to booking, 30% of total fee
  • Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to booking, 75% of total fee
  • Cancellations made up to 24 hours prior to booking, 95% of total fee
  • Cancellations made on the day of the booking, including “no shows”, 100% of total feeCancellation fees are payable in full by the 20th of the month following the cancelled booking.

Cancellation fees unpaid by the due date may be referred to a debt collection agency, and any debt collection costs incurred in recovering the cancellation fee will be added to the total fee due.
