Guided Hunting with Oliver
Oliver began hunting at a young age with his father on the Kapiti Coast.
Hunting deer and pigs in the foothills around his home and in the Tararua Ranges instilled an early passion for the wilderness, which has since lead to hunting throughout the North and South island after various big game and trophy animals.
Since the age of 16, Oliver has been successfully leading hunting parties. Now aged 23, he is hunting professionally as a sole operator, as well as guiding for a hunting outfitter in the Wairarapa. He has gained a wealth of experience for his age.
When not hunting, Oliver is busy completing a sport science degree through Massey University, as well as helping on his father’s farm.
In 2015, Oliver completed the New Zealand Professional Hunting Guides Association academy course to become a member of the New Zealand Professional Hunting Guides Association and a registered professional hunting guide. Being young and enthusiastic he is excited to be working in a field he is so passionate about.
