Transmission Gully/Paekākāriki
Lift from the airport and fly into the heart of the new Transmission Gully Project. Continuing to head south we fly towards Tawa to the Canons Creek Bridge, on the way you will see the Porirua Harbour, possibly views of the South Island in the distance. Then head past Pukerua Bay along The Escarpment Track which is the most popular and picturesque Walks in the Lower North Island that goes right to Paekākāriki. Finally along the Kapiti Coast and back to the Kapiti Coast Airport!

Mt Hector
A really spectacular delight, an alpine experience not to be missed! Only 10 minutes from downtown Paraparaumu. During the winter season it is often snow capped at an altitude of 5000ft. Listen to informative stories of the Tararuas of years gone by. During the 1920’s & 30’s skiers would tramp from the Otaki Forks to ski near Kime Hut. If the weather permits, the Pilot will try to land at Hut Mound for a spectacular view of Kapiti, Wairarapa and more!

Park Valley Glacier/Hut Mound
